shipping supplies.
JOB SUMMARY: To
provide the primary manual labor required to wash and sanitize dry ice boxes
and provide warehouse labor tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :
Wash empty dry ice
containers. Help load dry ice boxes
as needed. Knows and complies with
all safety and quality policies and procedures. Clean-up functions
including, but not limited to: sweeping, washing, painting, trash removal and
pick-up, and basic janitorial both inside and outside the building, as well as
other miscellaneous warehouse duties.
Other Duties as Required: This job description should not be construed to

Incumbents are expected to follow any other reasonable instructions, and
perform any other related duties, as may be required by their supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or
equivalent (GED) preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
One (1) year experience
in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add,
subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to
compute rate, ratio, commissions, proportions, and percent's.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, &
ABILITIES
Able to read and write. Able to understand and follow
the direction of supervisors.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The
physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by
an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to

Must be able to
lift up to 60 pounds. Work may require
standing, stooping, crouching, or bending.

Unconditioned workspace (i.e. warm in
summer, cool in winter). Hazards
require the use of personal protective equipment (i.e. hardhat, safety
glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes). Dry ice is extremely cold, and therefore
requires that gloves be worn when directly handling dry ice. The noise level in the
work environment is usually loud. On-call and
shift work required.
