General Ledger (G/L) Close - PepsiCo HQ:

Responsibilities include running SAP GL reports, preparing/posting journal entries, preparing account analyses, researching transactions as required, preparing the reporting schedules for submission to the Corporate Consolidation group, as well as other misc reporting/analysis. Responsible for managing the process to download information from SAP into HFM, via FDM, in order to populate period end reports. SAP is the general ledger reporting system and HFM is the Corporate Consolidation reporting system being used.

Intercompany Accounting:

Responsible for preparing intercompany billings and related journal entries. Following up with divisional contacts and resolving reconciling/disputed items. Providing feedback to Corporate Consolidation group on the Suncore intercompany matching report, to explain any out of balance amounts.

Tax Accounting:

Responsible for preparing the tax provision calculation and populating the FAS109 tax reporting schedules. Also includes validating the tax calculation assumptions used with the Corporate Tax Manager.

Other :

Prepare PepsiCo Headquarter bank account reconciliations, download the Treasury Quantum report, research Treasury related transactions, including suspense postings, as required, and provide support to other Corporate departments as necessary. In addition, participates in the preparartion of the Balance Sheet Cause of Change report for management review on certain period end closes.

Qualifications :

Previous GL close experience

SAP GL experience is preferred

HFM experience is a plus

Good verbal and written communication skills

Good analytical skills and team player

CPA or working towards CPA required
