Renton, Washington -- Providence Health & Services is seeking an excellent physician executive to act as the Vice President of Retail Health for our five-state health system. The VP-Retail will develop, integrate and operationalize retail healthcare delivery programs and services across the system. At Providence, these currently operate as Health Express Clinics that are freestanding or embedded in other retail facilities. In this capacity, the VP-Retail will work with local and regional teams across all Providence Health & Services ministries to establish cross function and cross regional teams of physician groups, quality, finance, planning and strategy experts to develop and execute specific retail program strategies and tactics. Program tactics include collaboration and accountability for operations and quality management of retail healthcare delivery services for program execution. The VP-Retail will guide retail operations development and work with clinical transformation, care coordination and regional leadership teams to establish and successfully operationalize shared priorities. The VP-Retail will create strategies for spread and adoption of best practices/innovation as well as the integration of functional support services and quality initiatives with regional operations in all retail settings. The VP-Retail will have matrixed accountability to ensure that provider recruitment and retention targets are met, and that recruited providers and operations leaders align with our core values and organizational vision and strategies.

MD, DO, NP or PA degree from an accredited university with board certification (where applicable) in a primary care medical specialty.

An MBA, MHA, MPH or significant experience managing the financial and clinical aspects of a health care organization is preferable.

A minimum of 10 years of experience working with providers and other clinical leaders, finance and operations leaders and executives. Significant experience with clinical specialty as a practicing provider, including work with hospital committees and in medical staff leadership roles and leadership roles in private practice and large group practice. Demonstrated experience as a leader with responsibility for clinical provider leadership development and education within an integrated delivery system or medical group.
