POSITION: Kitchen Maintenance Worker GRADE: H04
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage DATE: Jan 01, 2011

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE
______________________________________________________________________________
Provides dishwashing, potwashing and general cleaning services for kitchen facilities.
______________________________________________________________________________
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
______________________________________________________________________________
1. Loads, unloads and operates dishwashing and silver burnishing equipment.
2. Washes pots and other cooking utensils.
3. Carefully handles and loads china and glassware according to correct procedures to minimize breakage.
4. Transports dishes, silver, glassware and other utensils and accessories.
5. Keeps immediate work area clean.
6. Cleans floors, walls, ceilings and equipment in all food preparation areas as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
______________________________________________________________________________
Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
EDUCATION: No requirements
EXPERIENCE: No previous experience necessary
ABILITIES: 1. Ability to follow instructions in English or Spanish
2. Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours
3. Ability to load, unload and transport dishes
4. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
