About this job
Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Will perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Care Program.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
Possession of current State of Texas License / RRT ; NRP preferred for Neonatal; PALS- preferred for PICU; ACLS- preferred for Adult Intensive Care Units
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):
BLS-obtained through approved American Heart Association Training
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Some experience in respiratory care or related area
