JOB SUMMARY:

Provides excellent customer service to all guests while attending to parking services for the guest.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :

* Welcomes and greets all guests in a friendly, upbeat, and positive manner using the guest's name when possible and recognizing all VIP guests.

* Personalizes every interaction with guest by delighting and building great relationships, inviting guests back and cross-selling other outlets, promotions, events, and entertainment.

* Arranges for prompt parking and retrieving of vehicles of arriving and departing guests in a safe and friendly manner.

* Opens vehicle doors, assists guests in stepping out of their vehicles, and helps guests with luggage or parcels

* Utilizes the Spotlight on Service skills to provide excellent customer service to all guests

* Collaborates with other Valet Attendants to ensure all guests are welcomed and greeted in a prompt and personalized manner

* Observes assigned areas for any safety hazards or unauthorized tampering with or pilferage to parked vehicles or Harrah's facilities, and reports immediately any incidents or conditions to the Valet Supervisor or Lead Valet Attendant.

* Watches for guests within the attendant parking area, and courteously explains the area is only open to authorized personnel.

* Attends the parking booth to ensure the security of guests' vehicle keys.

* Reports any vehicular safety hazards to the Hotel Supervisor.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

* Prefer High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of excellent customer service skills with guest contact experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Literate and fluent in English.

* Possess a valid driver's license and be able to provide a current DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) printout showing proof of good driving record.

* Prefer demonstrated success in a previous guest contact position

* Team Player with excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and a commitment to success

* Excellent collaboration skills to coordinate well with other Valet Attendants, Bell and Front Desk staff, and Leadership staff

* Capable of maintaining composure during difficult guest interactions and checking for satisfaction to ensure guest happiness

* Must obtain Alcohol Awareness Card from approved State of Nevada Alcohol Educational Awareness Training provider

* Ability to operating vehicles with a variety of controls and transmissions in a safe, efficient manner.

* Ability to memorize facts accurately.

* Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.

* Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record.

* Ability to write legibly.

* Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.

* Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

PHYSICAL, MENTAL and ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

* Ability to push/pull luggage carts, load/unload luggage carts and lift up to 100 pounds

* Ability to smell, have good distance/close vision

* Manual dexterity skills to include handling various keys, knobs, buttons and levers.

* Ability to stand or sit for 8 hours.

* Ability to continually run up and down stairs in parking garage.

* Possess the physical stamina to run throughout each shift, day after day.

* Ability to tolerate extreme variations in temperature

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy

environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
