Providence is calling a Food and Nutrition Assistant II Room Service to the Food and Nutrition Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.
In this position you will:
Deliver meals and nourishments to patients, while providing high quality customer service.
Follow correct delivery procedure for delivering trays within the Food and Nutrition Room Service program.
Communicate effectively with customers and team members. Provide high quality customer service.
Prepare, portion and deliver a variety of foods according to production and customer needs, some of which require short preparation.
Prioritize work assignments and stay organized.
Comply with HACCP guidelines and ensure proper washing and sanitizing of work areas and equipment.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Regular attendance is a requirement of this position
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Specific vocational training - training can be provided in a school, work, military, institutional or vocational environment
Six (6) months training or on the job training in quantity food preparation and basic principles of sanitation and safety in food handling
