Location: San Francisco, CA
The UI Design intern will provide support to the User Experience group. You will work with UI Designers, Usability Analysts, Product Managers and Developers to create a user experience that results in successful usage of salesforce.com features and functions for both business users and systems administrators. This will involve such key tasks as development of schematics, mockups and html prototypes. Competitive research and product requirements analysis will also be involved.
Required Skills: Working towards an undergraduate or Master degree in the area of Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, or associated field with a focus on design. Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and OmniGraffle (or equivalent, e.g., Visio) Working knowledge of Javascript and Photoshop Strong html prototyping skills Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail Excellent verbal and written communications skills Excellent attention to detail Motivated and eager to learn Ability to work independently as well as in a group
Bonus: User research Heuristic evaluations Enterprise/Web application experience preferred
