The Commercial Administrative Assistant role is responsible for providing administrative support to several members of the commercial leadership team. Essential Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include:
Purchase Order (PO) Processing
Calendar Management
Travel arrangements
Preparation of PowerPoint presentations
Managing leadership correspondence as requested
Processing of regularly corporate card and cash expenses
Meeting and conference call coordination
Records management
Special projects and additional duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma with 3+ years related working experience in a corporate environment at senior contributor level.
Eligibility Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
MUST be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
MUST submit application for employment through COS (internal candidates) or www.gecareers.com (external candidates) to be considered for this position.
MUST be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, drug testing, reference verification and background check.
MUST be willing to work from office location in Chicago, IL.

Mastery of Office 2000 with experience and advanced skills in all Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent administrative and inter-personal skills.
Experience interfacing with senior management and high profile clients.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to draft clear and concise memoranda.
Professional approach, good judgment, creative problem-solver.
Highly organized and attentive to detail. Heavy telephone interaction -- answer and direct calls as appropriate.
Maintain high level of integrity and confidentiality.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Exhibit exceptional organization skills and detail orientation.
