Receptionist - WHP - Fulltime - Days - Full-time / Part-time

Greets vendors, customers. Registers incoming patients in a courteous manner, verify and update demographic and insurance information in line with practice guidelines as well as Meaningful Use standards; print the superbill and labels needed for the patient visit. Is familiar with the collection policies of the organization and makes attempts to collect balances at point of service. Makes patient outgoing referrals to other physician and clinics and contact patient with appointment information. Balance money at end of day and enter onto daily balance report. Maintain a clean and organized work area in which to greet and check in patients, straighten lobby as needed. Assist with appointment confirmations and other duties as assigned by practice management.Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
