Our Default Servicing team engages, understands and advises consumer real estate customers of available solutions to resolve mortgage delinquencies.

This department is responsible for working within the guidelines of the Bankruptcy Consent Order processes to lift automatic stays.

Our department is looking for a Bankruptcy Manager 1. This manager will be responsible for leading a team of seasoned specialists, ensuring work is aligned, and providing recommendations on process improvements.

The leader will be dedicated to:

Supervising workflow and quality of Bankruptcy Consent Order activity Working with management team to identify problems and improve efforts Communicating company and unit policy, procedures and practices to build a framework with internal business units Making employment decisions and setting performance standards/writing evaluations Training and coaching staff Performing budgetary, product and/or business case analysis Researching/analyzing special projects as assigned Responsible for day-to-day application of, and adherence to, the department guidelines **Please note the posting duration may be shortened based on job seeker volume**

Required Qualifications

4+ years of financial industry experience

Desired Qualifications

Basic Microsoft Office skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 3+ years of bankruptcy experience Team or workforce management experience Ability to assess current processes/procedures and make recommendations for efficiency Exposure to Wells Fargo LPS (Loan Processing System) or MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) application Knowledge and understanding of bankruptcy investigation Knowledge and understanding of mortgage default: bankruptcy, foreclosure, and loss mitigation Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives Supervisory or management experience

Job Expectations

This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
