Our Consumer Credit Solutions (CCS) Unsecured Credit Risk t eam manages the credit quality of the unsecured CCS portfolios, partnering with Consumer Financial Services, Education Financial Services and Retail Services from origination through account management and authorizations to collections.

The Consumer Unsecured Credit Risk (CUCR) Management team has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Risk Analytics Consultant to be part of the CUCR Education Financial Services Data Infrastructure (DI) team. The position will facilitate the establishment of a well-defined data management and maintenance framework (including strong controls over data quality, integrity and documentation) in accordance with Basel Committee On Banking Supervision (BCBS) 239 Requirements and WF Governance and Oversight Framework to effectively manage credit risk data and reporting.

The person in this role will:

Maintain, expand and improve processes, tools, database functionality and reporting Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, systems and internal controls Analyze business and/or systems changes to determine impact Identify and assess risk issues and process improvements Develop corrective action plans, implement Best in Business results and effectively manage change as well as ensure that all corrective actions have been completely and successfully implemented Collaborate with other lines of business under CUCR to develop, establish and enhance a streamlined data infrastructure to support various data needs (ex. Loss Forecasting, Basel, CAR, CCAR and reporting areas of risk management) Interact with multiple lines of business and senior management As part of a larger group, ensure success in preparing and completing reviews with internal/external auditors, regulators and examiners for CUCR

Required Qualifications

5+ years of risk reporting experience, risk analytics experience, or a combination of both 4+ years of SQL or SAS experience 2+ years of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience A BS/BA degree or higher

Other Desired Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Economics or Operations Research or equivalent experience Prior experience with data architecture, systems, complex data flows and mappings In-depth working knowledge of EFS systems and data warehouses Thorough understanding of data across multiple product classes, systems and organizations Experience working with student loan data High attention to detail, with passion for data integrity, quality, controls and documentation Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences Capable of working on cross-organizational projects and influencing decisions by effectively building relationships and partnering with internal and external business partners Self-starter and innovator in driving business decisions; excellent business sense beyond "just data" Dedicated, enthusiastic, self-driven and performance-oriented; possessing a strong work ethic Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Strong conceptual and quantitative problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to think creatively. Ability to learn and work independently while managing time and priorities efficiently Ability to understand business concepts and analyze data
