The ED Tech I works in a full service Emergency Department, treating all ages. This role assumes the responsibility for assisting with the implementation of supportive nursing care under the direction of an RN. This includes strong clinical skills, clerical/courier duties, stocking, transporting, performing EKG's, phlebotomy, and specific patient care duties (splinting, catheterization, wound care, greeter, etc.).

1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. One of the following:
CNA certificate
2 years experience providing patient care
EMT certification
Currently enrolled in LVN, ADN and/or BSN School of Nursing with completion of Fundamentals
Medical Assistant certification
2. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain certification throughout employment
