Responsibilities: Assists and supports Surgical team in the preparation and breakdown of Surgical Suites, provides equipment and maintains a sterile environment.
Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. BLS certification required. Must be able to read and write.
Additional Qualifications: Previous medical or housekeeping experience preferred. Must wear surgical attire including surgical mask. Demonstrates awareness of proper body mechanics. Demonstrates knowledge of room cleaning procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of patient safety related to transportation. Remains current in hospital mandatory requirements. Demonstrates knowledge of proper use of chemicals.
Benefit Eligible: Yes
Exemption Status: Non-exempt
Hours/Pay Period: 80
Schedule Details: Monday-Friday; 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.; rotating call.
Weekend Schedule: Rotating call.
