Responsibilities:

Job Summary : Prepares and serves food and beverage items according to brand specifications at one or more of the following campus locations: Chick-fil-a, Subway, Starbucks, Java City, or the convenience store.

Essential Tasks & Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve all food and beverage items according to brand standards. Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines are followed at all times. Adhere to all safety policies and accident reporting procedures. Monitor and prevent food waste. Maintain and complete daily production records. Smile and greet customers as they enter the store and provide quick and courteous service. Keep work station, restaurant, equipment, and food court clean and organized. Participate in scheduled cleaning and maintenance of facilities and equipment. Operate cash register if required and follow all cash handling policies. Complete all required brand training. Any additional tasks as assigned by a member of the supervisory or management team.

Qualifications:

High School education or equivalent experience preferred. Knowledge of food prep, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is helpful. Must be able to read and write to facilitate proper communication with others. Mathematical ability required. Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations for cooking and calculating change. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly. Exposure to temperature extremes associated with working in or near a kitchen.
