Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services/Custodial Operations Manager for CHI Health Bergan Mercy Medical Center. This is a 300 bed hospital with approximately 900,000 square feet; and future site of the Creighton University Medical Center, School of Medicine, and a Level One Trauma Center.
This Operations Manager will be responsible for quality operations for 3 shifts. Will oversee a team of 5 supervisors and 65 full time hospital employees in a fast paced environment. This position will work closely with Facilities, Construction and managers in Nursing and Ancillary Departments. Driving client engagement and patient/employee satisfaction is essential for the success of this role. While this position will need to be flexible to work all shifts as needed, this is primarily a second shift opportunity (2:00 PM start time) and will require some weekends and holidays.
The ideal candidate for this position will have prior Environmental Services/ Custodial Management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Previous management experience with EVS Cleaning systems, Infection Control processes and TRAKKAR (or similar labor management system) is preferred. Must have strong financial skills and customer service skills.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
