AutoCAD Drafter/Designer - Full-time / Part-time

Immediate Opening with an Architecural & Engineering Company that is looking for AutoCAD Drafters/Designers to join their team! Great Opportunity to work with projects focused on Structural Support Systems. Good internal company with a friendly local office that fosters a fast paced/teamwork focused environment.

Qualifications:

• AS or BS Degree in Architecture/Computer Aided Design.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D/3D Layout Designs.
• Knowledge of Revit/BIM 3D/Navisworks Modeling Softwares.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• BEST Candidate will have an AS Degree in CAD or Revit with 2-3 years of experience working in AutiCAD doing structural work. Experience using Revit/Navisworks within a professional setting.

Job Description:

• Position is calling for a CAD/Revit Designer.
• 100% of the work day will be spent in an office setting.
• Coordinating with Sales Engineers, Project Managers, Estimating Team, etc. to produce construction shop drawings and 2D models (some 3D depending on your Revit/Navisworks skills).
• Provide plans and sketches to Lead Designer/Manager.
• Review/Revise shop drawings/blueprints according to client needs and interests.
• Meeting with Project Managers/Sales Team to review new projects, new sketches, and project strategies/ideas.
