Construction Manager6188 / Full-Time

The Fresh Market currently has an opening for a Construction Manager to be based in Orlando, Florida. Our Construction Managers are responsible for managing new store projects as well as open store construction remodel projects that he/she is assigned to. Our Construction Department believes that attention to detail and ultimately to customer satisfaction sets us apart from the rest.

• Development and management of full construction schedule and project budgets
• Establish and execute project bid process
• General construction management including coordination of GC activities and refrigeration contractor activities
• Total construction closeout, invoice reconciliation
• Project based communications both external and internal communications with store operations team
• Document management
• Excellent multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills are required to effectively manage concurrent projects across the company

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Construction, Construction Management, Architectural Construction Administration, or other related discipline is required
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience as a Construction Manager or Owner’s construction representative is required
• Grocery construction experience will be considered a plus
• An understanding and expertise on general construction trades, health regulations, government guidelines, OSHA, and all safety guidelines
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, multi-tasking skills, time management skills, and leadership skills are required
• Computer proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, & MS Project is required
• Familiarity with Auto-Cad would be a plus
• The ability to travel up to 60% of the time is required
• Some night works will be required
