QC Chemist II

Purpose is to analyze material per Polypeptide Labs SOP and cGMP.

Work areas are mostly inside, in a climate-controlled environment with moderate to high background noise and minimal natural lighting. Sampling of raw materials may take place either outside or in the HMU. Position involves exposure to hazardous materials, fumes, odors, and dust.

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of laboratory techniques. Knowledge of cGMP.

1. Prepare samples for analysis, analyze, and report results
2. Prepare controlled documentation in support of the sampling, analysis, and reporting of results.
3. Analyze data with respect to standards or to previously determined parameters.
4. Perform routine review in support of GMP
5. Prepare material for shipment to customers
6. Represent company with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
7. Adhere to company policies and support management decisions in a positive, professional manner.
8. Use of pH meter, balance, HPLC analytical, Computer, hand tools, misc. lab equipment
