About this job
We are currently seeking an experienced Brokerage Compliance Manager for our client located in the Jamaica, NY area.
The ideal candidate MUST have a Customs Broker License and at least ten years of experience within the industry. Strong knowledge of Customs, Government agency regulations, and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule required.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Entry transaction audits and follow up; submit post entry corrections; set up new/existing customers with req. documentation; obtain and define handling procedures, tariff databases, credit limits; and provide training and regulatory assistance to staff.
Salary is contingent upon experience.
