Local Visalia client is looking for a Field Service Technician.

- Must have possession of a Valid Drivers license, clean MVR and capable of getting a passport with access to Canada
- Must have a working knowledge of blueprints, schematic drawings, and other drawings in an Industrial establishment to determine work procedures.
- Must have ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment with mechanical, PLC and computer components.
- Must Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
- Must be available to travel, approximately 60% of the time, sometimes for extended period’s normal maximum is up to 4 weeks.
- Electrical knowledge both high and low voltage – trouble shooting, diagnosis, installation.Serves existing accounts by investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
- Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests. Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
- Produce timely and detailed documentation of service reports, detailed status reports to supervisor, installation reports, and test reports.
- Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; along with departmental cross training.
- Manage all onsite installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks, Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions..
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations / corrections. Inspection of, tune and troubleshoot all equipment to ensure proper operation of complete systems.
