Pro-E Designer - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek CE is currently looking for a Pro-E Mechanical Designer. This particular client is known for making a range of high quality products that supports the food industry. This Mechanical Designer will be an important part of their team and a typical day will involve the following tasks and duties but not limited to:

• Creating concept and design layouts of complex products
• Creating concept and design layouts of particular systems withing a product
• Develop and implement design changes in support of internal cost saving initiatives
• Develop and maintain work schedules on assigned projects
• Create and check new drawings
• Update existing drawings for form, fit, and function
• Provide design support and analysis for issues arising in manufacturing, purchasing, quality control, and in the field

MUST-HAVE Qualifications

• 2+ years of Pro-E design (Industry experience, schooling experience does NOT apply)
• Cost reduction experience
• Bill of materials experience
• Design change experience

Additional Qualifications (Pluses)

• Sheet metal experience
• Refrigeration experience
