Health Information Management Manager

Aerotek is currently hiring a Health Information Management Manager position on a full-time direct placement opportunity. This candidate would be responsible for Supervising and managing all operations within the Health Information Management Department including coding and transcription.

* Responsible for managing, directing, and supervising the following services: Medical Records, Transcription and Clinic Medical Records.
* Participates in meetings and committees.
* Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance to hospital policies and HIPAA regulations.
* Perform random audits of departments work product to ensure 100% compliance with established departmental policies and procedures
* Work closely with hospital to resolve issues in the revenue cycle.

This candidate must be a certified Coder, must have at least 5 years+ of Medical coding experience, and have management or supervisory experience of a tea,m of at least 10+.
