Dual Front Desk Manager

Responsible for the operation of two hotels. Overall Responsibilities:

The Front Desk Manager in a White Lodging hotel is responsible for ensuring that the activities of the front desk are carried out on a daily basis. These activities include check-in and check-out, reservations, answering phones, all guest interactions, luggage assistance, and rooms control.

Essential Job Functions Include:

Orchestrate the activities of the Front Desk associates to ensure that they provide a high level of customer service. Work with front desk associates to check in and check out guests, answer phones, take reservations, give directions, and service guests. Ensure compliance with White Lodging and hotel brand standards. Oversee and use approved accounting techniques to account for hotel revenues. Oversee Front Desk payroll to ensure associates are paid in a timely and accurate manner. Coach, counsel, discipline, train, and mentor front desk associates to deliver excellent performance and to reach their personal development goals. Interview, hire, and train new front desk associates. In the absence of the General Manager, inspect all areas of the hotel daily for compliance to standards and policies. Maximize revenue through cost control and proper front desk sales techniques.

Qualifications:

2-year college degree or equivalent work experience. Complete understanding of front desk operations. Excellent leadership skills with hourly staff. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent organization. Excellent computer skills and the ability to work all office machines. Professional image, communicated through demeanor, dress, and communication. Able to work all shifts including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
