Carpentry Supervisor - Full-time / Part-time

Job Details

• Supervise, perform, and document daily, weekly, and monthly ride inspections and repairs
• Develop and maintain departmental budgets and expenses
• Maintain proper department stock levels
• Supervise, designate, and execute department work orders
• Develop material lists and cost quotes for department projects and work orders
• Supervise work crews at job sites and ensure assignments are completed on time
• Comprehend and implement maintenance and inspection procedures
• Train staff members to operate all ride related equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure that all routine maintenance is being performed in a timely manner
• Supervise crew for construction of buildings from blueprint drawings
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of carpentry and be able to install and fix the following; ceramic tile, drop ceilings, sheetrock, cabinets, roofing (metal & asphalt), concrete, masonry, formica, doors, windows, and trim work
• Ability to read and comprehend blue prints and schematics
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations
• Ability to work at heights over 100 feet
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without difficulty
• The ability to stand for up to 10 hours, climb stairs repeatedly and assist with ride evacuations
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving history
• Ability to work professionally and productively with the guests and employees
• May be required to work up to six days per week including nights, weekends, holidays and varied shifts during the operating season
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and meet deadlines in an efficient manner
