About this job

As a Senior Analytics Consultant, youwill be responsiblefor supporting client contractual activities associated with rare diseaseprograms. You will be responsible for doing reporting, annual financialreconciliation analysis, client presentations, data quality evaluation, opportunityanalytics and trend management. Additionally, you will support the function ofclient management where Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) works withinternal business owners to communicate current trends in member population. Asa Senior Analytics Consultant, you will also facilitate operational improvement onbehalf of your client. Our Senior Analytics Consultant will also evaluate largevolumes of healthcare claims data, reconcile data quality conflicts, and turnhigh-level information into executive summaries to communicate to internal andexternal business stakeholders.

Additional responsibilitiesof the Senior Analytics Consultant include:

- Work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage contractualdeadlines for the Account team by completing advanced analytics, data modelingand summary presentations

- Effectively leverage HCA resources to support internal &external client business needs

- Prioritize client related requests and projects to ensure focus onhigh-impact activities and development of reporting solutions for increasedoperational support to benefit the clients and manage costs

- Work with internal business partners on IT, Operational, Sales and AccountTeam projects to scope resource needs, prototyping reports and providinganalytic recommendations using advanced coding logic

- Provide insight and information using technical knowledge to elicit retentionof existing client business and ensure effective new client implementations

- Acquire and maintain expert knowledge on Care Management industry productsand programs

- Creative thinking to develop leading solutions to respond to changinghealthcare landscape through analytics and clinical program value

Required Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in data or business analysis or

related work

- Previous work experience in healthcare or care management industry required.

- Advanced proficiency in SQL (or SAS), Microsoft Excel and Access and advanced statistical analyses required.

Preferred Qualifications - Proven ability to analyze

large claims data sets and solve data quality problems

- Ability to communicate and present effectively in front of senior leadership

- Strong self-learner and ability to work independently

Education Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or Economics
