About this job
Provides
patient care assistance, specialty team support, case preparation/turnover
functions and equipment/instrumentation technical support. Functions as a team member of the surgical
team under the supervision of a specialty team member.
Minimum
Education:
*
High School graduate
Minimum Education/Experience:
* 3-6 months hospital operating room or healthcare
facility experience
- OR --
* 3 months of volunteer experience in operating room and
student in a health related field
Physical Demands:
*
Moderate physical effort
*
Occasional prolonged standing/walking
*
Lifts supplies/equipment
*
Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts equipment/supplies
*
Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and
crouching
Working
Conditions:

May be exposed to infections and contagious diseases
*
Regularly exposed to the risk of bloodborne diseases

Exposed to housekeeping/cleaning agents/chemicals
