About this job
* Keeps Management informed at all times on matters pertaining to Hotel Security.
* Formulates instructions and programs to ensure safety and security of the persons and properties in the premises.
* Organizes the Security Department in conformity with the requirements set forth by the management.
* Supervise 24-hour hotel security operations of the contracted security personnel.
* Ensures that all security operations are in accordance with Accor Hotel policies and with local laws.
* Ensures that all security operations abide by rules and regulations.
* Coordinates with Duty Managers and Department Heads on matters, which require special assistance pertaining security.
* Ensures that a thorough and complete investigation and reporting are made on losses, thefts, accidents or any incident incurred by guests and employees. Maintain thorough file of such reports for future reference.
* Attend to Operations Review meetings, Loss Control Committee meetings in the absence of the Director of Security.
* Coordinates activities of the Emergency Response/Rescue Team.
* Monitors the effective maintenance of all equipment and makes recommendations for additional equipment.
* Maintains effective working relationship with all departments within the Hotel and ensures that efficient and effective service is available at all times.
* Reports all safety hazards and defective hotel property to the Security Director
* Ensures that the Daily Activity Report reflects all security activities, which take place during the day.
* Ensures that all reports are written accurately and concisely and submitted on required date.
* Ensures effective record's keeping in the Security Department.
