Located on tropical Sanibel Island, The Sundial Beach Resort and Spa has an immediate opening for an outgoing, part time Tennis Court Maintenance associate. The ideal candidate for this position must have flexible availability to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent customer service skills are mandatory and applicants must have the desire to satisfy others in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must display good judgment, follow directions thoroughly and work with minimal supervision. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • New Hydro courts, fencing, areas, and equipment will be maintained in pristine condition. 
  • Keep a daily log of each courts condition.
  • Keep all areas near the courts clean and organized.
  • Keep storage areas clean and organized.
  • Keep all equipment in good working condition.
  • Responsible for upkeep of equipment, provided golf cart, roller, and all other tennis related equipment.
  • List and report any equipment, material, or product needed.
  • Report any court or equipment issues to the Tennis Director.
  • Complete special Tennis related projects as assigned.
  • Assist Director with required equipment for events and lessons.
  • Provide excellent Customer service to guests and members.
  • Cover shop hours as needed.
  • Observe and report any safety issues.
  • Be familiar with resort services, amenities, and outlets.
  • Compliance with all resort policies and procedures and described and communicated by management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

     

Our attractive compensation package includes a $12.50 hourly wage and paid tolls.

Requirements

  • Good customer service skills.
  • Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, while remaining flexible to the needs of the Tennis department.
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of tennis court maintenance and equipment is required.
  • Previous relevant experience is highly preferred.
  • Must have experience in maintaining tennis courts.
