The Opportunity: The Four Seasons, Washington D.C. is currently looking for an experienced Utility Steward (Dishwasher) . The Utility Steward is one of the key roles in the restaurant and/or events operations. The efficiency with which he/she performs his/her tasks increases the level of service, which allows us to better serve our guests.
This individual's responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of the glassware, china, and silverware for service, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, and ensuring that the dish machine is operating properly at all times through proper maintenance. Other responsibilities include picking up, washing, and properly storing away pots and pans, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, removing garbage and recyclables, and maintaining the cleanliness of the trash room.
Another critical task is maintaining the cleanliness of the pot wash station.

Qualifications:
* Prior stewarding experience is preferred.
* Ability to read, write and speak English.
* Position regularly involves lifting items weighting up to 50 lbs.
* Flexibility in scheduling for busy periods; holidays and weekends
* Able to work at a fast and safe pace throughout shift
