JOB DESCRIPTION

Large national client is in search of an astute electrical engineering, associate (level 1) to join their team on the south coast of MA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to start your career with a top-tier employer known throughout the world for its engineering prowess and its game changing product offerings and robust solutions.

The candidate will support the engineering and production support team and participate in a multitude of electrical engineering functions. The main purpose of this position is to support design and production engineers for this product which is in full scale production. Duties will include hands on troubleshooting, analysis, writing technical reports, and interacting with a close knit engineering team. The start date is flexible.

The candidate should be able to work independently, yet thrive in a team environment and have sound theoretical and practical experience as well as passion for analog and/or power engineering. The primary tasks will include complex board and system level debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and production support. Occasional overtime and some travel are required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

4-year EE degree; strong ability to multitask; excellent testing and troubleshooting skills and aptitude; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to work well in a team environment. Proficient with common laboratory engineering tools such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, digital multi-meters, and other support equipment. PSPICE, Matlab, MS Office suite.

DESIRED SKILLS

Logic analyzers, LabView, programmable logic device expertise is a plus, signal integrity expertise, and EPDM. Previous hands-on EE work is a major plus.
