Position Purpose:

You will play a vital role in the success of a department and Cargill Kitchen Solutions. As a Cargill Stakeholder, you will develop a deep understanding of production responsibilities and assess and initiate opportunities for improvement. You will create and promote a team-building environment, which promotes customer and stakeholder enthusiasm. Additionally, you are responsible for executing safety initiatives and communicating safety awareness. This position will assure all HACCP's, GMP's, and SOP's are executed as planned. This position will play a vital role in meeting business and departmental goals and milestones. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to focus on training and development to further your career with Cargill Kitchen Solutions. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Principal Accountabilities

70%: Accountable for the production of food safe product in a fast paced manufacturing environment and becoming proficient in cleaning procedures, tear down and set up, to include, but not limited to: Ovens, freezers, transfer belts and conveyors, ESL/Liquid Production equipment, general housekeeping of plant floors and drains, chemical cage, shelves, floors, walls and labeling containers.

10%: Maintain adherence to all Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.

10%: This position shall have the responsibility to report problems with the food safety management system to identified person(s). This position has the responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions. Acquire and maintain knowledge of HACCP/OPRP/PRP (GMP) policies and requirements to complete all monitoring and/or verifications tasks as outlined in the Food Safety Management

5%: All job duties may be revised by the supervisor when necessary to accommodate business needs. The descriptions are general guidelines of expectations but may not include all responsibilities of the position

5%: Complete all daily paperwork

Shift hours are 10pm- 6am (hours will very and weekend work is required). Pay is $16.50/ hour.

Required

Positive Attitude and Problem Solving skills. Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.

Be physically able to perform the job duties including extended periods of standing, bending, stooping, shoveling, sweeping, and repeatedly lifting up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to squat 15%, sit 5%, and stand 80% of the time.

Must have basic mechanical ability.

Must have basic math and reading ability.

Must be able to work in hot, cold and wet environment with cleaning chemicals.

Preferred

Ability to effectively communicate with team members.

Previous food manufacturing experience and/or mechanical experience.

Willingness to advance skillset.
