Internship RequirementsThis position is part of our Summer Paid Internship Program.Internship will last between June and August. Approximately 10 weeks.Payrate is $17/hr for undergrad and $19/hr for graduate level students.Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greaterYou must currently be enrolled in an educational institution and be returning in the Fall.Kernel is the Creative Department of Time Warner Cable Media. We are looking for a Graphic/Motion Graphics Designer to join our growing team as an intern.
Responsibilities include:Design compelling creative assets for collateral, linear as well as all digital platforms that reflect the client’s brand.Ensure that all graphics are developed, delivered and published on a timely basis.Accommodate other interdepartmental design requests.Creating motion graphics for full videos, animations, and graphic overlays from concept to executionCollaborating with the team on ideas and storyboards, and presenting those concepts to internal team and clientsDesigning style frames for concepts and projects
You have:Extensive knowledge of the entire CC suite, specifically Id, Ps, Ai, Ae, and Pr, as well general knowledge of presentation graphics; i.e. Power Point.The ability to tell stories through conventional design as well as digital and motion graphics with the use of graphics, video, and audioThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
