As a Caregiver (Direct Support Professional, DSP) with REM North Dakota, you’ll be one of those extraordinary people. This position supports individuals we serve in both residential and day settings. We seek a compassionate person to successfully provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care. In this role you will also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. Our Caregivers also partner with our clinical staff to support the therapeutic and behavioral plans in place.

Qualifications

What we require of you:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent

  • Must be minimum of 18 years of age

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing

  • Successful clearance of background checks

Initial Training Requirement--Paid Training:

Approximately 32 hours of mandatory paid training sessions offered to new employees prior to providing care to individuals.
