Lab Technician-Entry Level - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is seeking entry level Seed Technicians to work for our client in Jerseyville, IL.

Job Description:

• These positions will entail packaging corn and soybean seed for research trials.
• Will require high attention to detail, and may involve some counting, sorting, and scanning activities related to packaging.
• Ensure seed is packaged to meet federal and state regulations for shipment to different regions.
• Document shipments in internal system to maintain accurate records.
• This is indoor work, but will involve standing for prolonged periods of time.
• There are two shifts, the first starting at 5:00 AM and the second starting at 1:30 PM.
• Safety gear will be provided by our client.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma Required or equivalent GED.
• Experience working in a fast paced production or food environment.
• Ability to stand for 8 hour shift with intermittent breaks.
• Attention to detail and proficiency working with computers.
