Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.

  • Serves as administrative supervisor for all Program personnel (excluding clinical specialists such as OT, PT, and Speech) including hiring, performance evaluation and disciplinary action.
  • Oversees the daily operation of the Program.
  • Ensures that program placement and the schedules of clients are consistent with each individual’s requirements.
  • Completes monthly inspections and corrective action as necessary.
  • Maintains monthly budgets and required documentation.
  • Ensures that the Program is in compliance with the standards of all applicable state and private certification and licensing agencies.
  • Ensures all vehicles have proper documentation and compliance with state and licensing agencies and regular maintenance is maintained.
  • Implements all safety and fire procedures at day program according to all regulations and standards.
  • Updates and implements all persons served medication sheets at day program.
  • Organizes the transportation of all medical appointments during program hours.
  • Maintains a safe environment at the program.
  • Completes payroll documentation for all program employees.
  • Evaluates and orders monthly supplies for the Program.
  • Cooperates with the licensee and Department of Human Services in any inspection or investigation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directs and supervises assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years experience in Human Services field and 1 year management experience.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Must maintain a current valid driver’s license and all required certifications and tests as required by state of operation.
