Care Giver - Full-time / Part-time

A-1 Independent Living Solutions provides in-home care and personalized services for individuals who are elderly and/or disabled so they can continue to live in their homes as safely and as independently as possible.Positions available involve working in an in-home setting providing assistance with tasks such as bathing, dressing, shaving, meal preparation, housekeeping, errands, transportation, and accompanying to community and social events, etc.

We currently have multiple openings for male and female caregivers in the Blountville/Johnson City areas. Shift vary but all require day, evening and weekend availability.

Interested applicants should possess a caring and helpful attitude, strong work ethic, be willing to implement a team work approach and be interested in making a difference in someone’s life. Applicants must also be able to meet the following minimal requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age;


• Possess a High School Diploma or GED;


• Be able to lift at least 50 lbs;


• Be able to effectively read, write and communicate verbally in English;


• Be able to read and understand instructions;


• Be able to perform record-keeping and write reports;


• Possess a current, valid driver’s license and provide evidence of automobile liability insurance;


• Be able to pass a criminal background check;


• Must not be listed on the Tennessee Abuse Registry, the TN Sexual Offender Registry, the National Sexual Offender Registry, the TN Felony Offender List, and the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities or SAM registry;


• May be exposed, and be capable of performing daily and/or frequent repetitive movements such as bending, lifting and pulling which require the use of proper body mechanics.

A-1 Independent Living Solutions offers competitive wages, paid training and travel time reimbursement.
