About this job

As an academic medical center, Emory Healthcare is committed to the development and training of caregivers of the future. We are proud to offer a one-year residency program for new nurse graduates that bridges the gap between the classroom and real-life nursing practice. Our residency nurses are challenged to put their learning into practice and emerge from the program as confident, skilled members of the care team.

Openings are now available for the Summer 2016 residency program, which is offered at several of our hospitals and units across Emory Healthcare. A recruiter may contact you to discuss specific opportunities available.

Interviews will be conducted in April at Emory Johns Creek Hospital, Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, Emory Rehab Hospital, and Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital. Please continue to monitor your email for updates from our team. Due to high volume of applications we receive we are unable to contact all applicants.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required. This program is for new nursing graduates only. Candidates must have less than seven months of experience or no experience at all. Current Georgia RN license required to start the program. BLS certification through American Heart Association required. You may apply to the program before you are licensed, but must be licensed in the state of Georgia before the start of the residency program.
