Sodexo is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager for a Corporate Services FM account in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. The Facilities Operations Manager will be responsible for managing daily engineering service operations at a Corporate Campus setting consisting of over 600,000 SF of space. Campus is largely corporate office space with limited research labs. Campus also houses two cafeterias, multiple test kitchens and a research production facility. The successful candidate should be technically strong in hard FM, have experience with Maximo, be motivated and innovative to match the expectations of our client and have strong customer service skills .

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Resident District Manager, the Facilities Operations Manager will be responsible for the following:

Direct daily engineering service operations. Oversee all CMMS requests. Ensure proper operation of all hard service equipment such as HVAC, electric, plumbing, fire suppression and boilers. Supervise all day to day activities of 15 employees who report directly to me. Maintain and develop client relationship through proper communication on all hard services issues. Assist with any projects when needed. Establish a safe working environment for my staff by providing them with the proper training and PPE needed to do their job safely. Daily walkthrough of building to probe for potential equipment failure, facilities issues and safety hazards. Establish general operating standards and implement and quality improvements that could better my relationship with Unilever. Provide input for department budget and any capital improvements that are needed at the facility. Purchase all parts and equipment for hard services. Establish good customer support by meeting directly with the end user on any facilities request.

Position Summary

Number two position at the account with responsibility for all operations. Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Supervises managers. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Basic Management Experience - 1 year

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
