Job Purpose:

Lien Clerk plays an integral role in the collection process with the HERC Collections Department. The primary function is sending preliminary lien and bond notices on customer jobsites where HERC equipment is being used. The preliminary notice must be sent out in a timely manner. Preliminary notices provide a legal process where HERC can secure its legal rights to compensation in situations where customers have defaulted or declared bankruptcy.

Key Result Areas

Research to determine the validity of issuing lien releases. Issuing lien release or advising requestor of denial reason. Maintain accurate and complete database documentation of all activity regarding lien release requests. Handle incoming calls concerning lien releases while maintaining a high level of customer service. Maintain required production standards based on Grade Level. Prepare backup documentation required for Attorney review of non-statutory release request.

High School Diploma and/or equivalent education.

Decision Making Team Player Deadline Oriented Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
