Camp Bow Wow provides a fun, safe and upscale environment for dogs to play, romp and receive lots of love and attention!

Both AM and PM shifts available.  AM shifts are 6:15am to 12:45pm and PM shifts are 12:30pm to 7pm

Camp Counselor

Have fun with the dogs!  This position requires supervising doggie play groups, interacting with the pooches and observing behavior to prevent altercations from occurring.  General responsibilities involve handling of dogs, setting up of camp area, daily cleaning, ability to work outdoors in good and bad weather.  If you love working with dogs this is the position for you!  Morning and afternoon shifts available with weekend and holiday work required.  If you are a responsible, energetic and hardworking pet lover, we will provide training!

  • Camp Bow Wow Clarkston is a premier provider of doggy daycare and overnight boarding.  We are seeking exceptional Camp Counselors to add to our growing staff.
  • Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
    • Monitoring dogs in an open play yard environment
    • Cleaning kennels and play yards
    • Basic dog grooming of baths and nail trims
    • Monitor the dogs personal belongings, feedings, water and giving medications when necessary

Job Qualitifications

  • Ability to work weekends and holidays with various shifts starting as early as 6:15am or ending as late as 7pm.
  • Passion for the care of dogs; no fear of dogs
  • Previous customer service experience and strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong work ethic
  • Dependable transportation
  • Must be dependable and punctual is an absolute requirement
  • Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holiday's on a rotation
  • Able to track, record and file daily activities when necessary
  • Previous kennel experience is a plus, however not required
