Redemption House

• In operation for over 10 years, Redemption House has been making a positive impact on Ohio’s youth through support, love and devotion for residents ages 8-21. We work in conjunction with the Departments of Jobs and Family Services over northeast Ohio to secure the best care possible for our residents and to ensure that all their needs are met. We currently have two facilities; a boy’s home, a girl’s home and are in process of expanding with aftercare facilities for residents ages 17 to 21.

Direct Care Staff

• Our direct care staff is required to attend to our residents every day needs. Various duties will include but are not limited to; cooking and cleaning for the residents, dispensing their medication at the various schedules times during the day, helping residents with their schoolwork, transporting residents to school and scheduled activities, conducting activities with residents (self-esteem, conflict management, life skills and recreational), monitoring residents’ behavior and tracking in our log book, enforcing disciplinary policies and procedures, maintaining a focus on residents’ goals and helping residents reach them, being a positive role model, maintaining the grounds at Redemption House, mentoring and training new staff, leading bible study or devotionals, following and adhering to all Redemption House and ODJFS policies and crisis management.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License
• Current Auto Insurance
• High School Diploma
• Experience working with teens
• Willing to work overnight shifts (11 PM to 7 AM)
• Willing to start with part-time

Benefits/Wages:

Hiring part time with possibility of becoming full time within 30 days.

Part Time: $11/hr, 5 vaction days

Full Time: $12.50/hr, 10 Vacation Days
