About this job
A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who delivers care to the patient through utilization of the nursing process, which includes but is not limited to assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Collaboration with other nurses, physicians and allied health personnel is a must to ensure efficient and effective flow of work for the shift and transition to the next shift. Provides quality patient care in accordance with LRMC policies and procedures and established patient care standards and practice. Ability to perform duties of unit secretary and nurse aides as defined in their job descriptions and participates in performance improvement activities. Current Registered Nurse license valid in the State of Texas
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS
Current ACLS, STABLE and NRP or must obtain within 9 months of hire or transfer via this facility's program
Previous Labor & Delivery Experience preferred
