LPN - Transitional Care Unit (TCU) - 90% Day Shift - Full-time / Part-time

LPN will deliver both direct and indirect patient care of the adult and geriatric population as indicated within the scope of practice. Will have knowledge of practice for LPN as directed by South Carolina State Board of Nursing and established policies and procedures. To care for the patients of the Transitional Care Unit by providing both direct and indirect care based on patient needs to include teaching, discharge planning and care of medical conditions as directed by the patient's physician. To be able to provide for non emergent and urgent care as the needs arise. To provide for the well being of the patient entrusted to the care of the Transitional Care Unit inclusive of the physical, emotional, and psycho-social issues that arise during their stay in the unit, within your scope of practice. Education:

Graduate of a vocational/technical school of training as a Practical Nurse.

Certifications / Licenses:

Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Board of Nursing of the state of South Carolin. Must be current in SC License Registry.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification
