About this job
The Attendant maintains the Rio standards of excellence and ensures complete customer dining satisfaction by ensuring dining room and restaurant cleanliness. They ensure all supplies are adaquate, customer contact areas are clean, and overall guest experience is optimum. Posses a team player attitude and be flexible. Understand and have basic knowledge of sanitation procedures. Ability to perform work in a timely manner.
Clean spilled or dropped food or liquids as soon as identified to prevent accidents.
Keep all workstations stocked with necessary equipment including glassware, china, silver, napkins, and condiments as needed. Bring empty racks to dishroom.
Fill dispenser machines as needed (juice, soda, ice cream, coffee, etc.)
Prevent loss of supplies by using caution when cleaning plates and bus tubs.
Maintain cleanliness of tables and chairs, replace used ashtrays with clean ones.
Maintain restaurant cleanliness throughout the restaurant with particular emphasis on swept and mopped floors. Empty and inspect trash containers to reduce loss of supplies
Ability to interact with co-workers and guests effectively.
