Job Overview:
This role plays an integral part of NAB's balance sheet reporting process. The Balance Sheet Reporting Analyst is responsible for the review and analysis of NAB Balance Sheet as well as the review and analytics on NAB Q and A schedules. This role assists in ensuring the timely reporting and proper presentation of NAB's Balance Sheet to PepsiCo.
Primary Responsibilities:
Balance Sheet Reporting Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of NAB balance sheet reporting including identifying and investigating significant fluxes.
Present findings to Senior Manager Balance Sheet and Director Financial Reporting as needed
Prepare and post certain NAB elimination entries
Assist with PBC US GLCM account reconciliation review & compliance
Prepare Canada CTA proof
Prepare PBC equity rollforward and RE Other analyses for submission purposes to PepsiCo
Legal entity reporting and investment analysis
Prepare ad-hoc analyses as required
Support KPMG audit requests as needed
Q and A Schedule Review:
Key contributor to NAB's Phase II acceleration efforts driving balance sheet reasonableness and Q Schedule reporting process improvements
Review NAB Q and A schedules to ensure correct presentation for submission into PepsiCo
Perform a detailed review of Canada Q and A schedules and validate translation differences
Serve as subject matter expert over Q schedule and A schedule reporting and support NAB control teams as needed.
Communicate guidance and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
3-5 years of experience with public accounting experience preferred
Strong Excel skills
Experience with Hyperion/HFM
Strong communication and analytical skills
