About this job

Responsibilities* To assist in the delivery of patient care in a variety of Ambulatory Care settings with responsibilities in Primary Care Clinics, Allergy Clinics, Internal Medicine and Surgery Clinics.

This position includes care of adult and pediatric patients in family practice and specialty settings, both on and offsite locations.

Includes providing routine prep, discharge, and equipment instruction, administer medications per written orders, set-up and assist with procedures, obtain vital signs and chief complaint, assist with daily clinic operations and patient flow, and other responsibilities as directed.

**This position involves travel to various locations with in Ann Arbor and the surrounding communities including; Howell, Brighton, Ypsilanti, Livonia, Northville and Saline.

Required Qualifications* -Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing

-Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Michigan

-Completion of a pharmacology course in an accredited program

-Adult and pediatric experience

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Computer proficiency

-Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to varying schedules and different work environments

-Demonstrate exemplary customer service skills

Desired Qualifications* -One (1) year experience in an ambulatory setting

Work Schedule Hours/Week: 40 hours per week

Shift/Hours/Days: Day shift; Mon- Fri; 8-hour shifts; variable hours between 7 AM - 6 PM

Location: Ambulatory Care Nursing Resource Pool (ACNRP)

Primary focus: Primary Care Clinics, Allergy Clinics, Internal Medicine and Surgery Clinics.
