The principle duties of this position are to perform all activities associated with the disassembly, inspection and assembly of gas turbine powerplant. This position requires practical application of technical knowledge and strong numerical and reading skills to interpret complex work instructions. Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills are needed for a team oriented environment.
This position will require the incumbent to perform disassembly, inspection, assembly, clean, and engine test duties using a variety of production tooling and equipment to accomplish these functions.
Key Job Requirements
1. Engine disassembly/assembly - Perform mechanic duties to disassemble and assemble engines, engine sections and accessories.
2. Clean - Perform cleaning of engine parts and components
3. Inspection - Inspect engines, engine sections, assessories and component parts to determine serviceability and repairability.
4. Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.
5. SAP and Solumina familiarity.
