The server assistant is responsible for the overall appearance of the restaurant, cleanliness of service stations and bus carts, setting tables and keeping service stations stocked. This is a crucial role as it greatly impacts the efficiency of service. The busser must be impeccably clean grooming and mannerisms. They must be professional and have a high sense of self esteem. They must be motivated as a sales person and enjoy working with people of all types. They must have great patience, good communication skills and great work ethic.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist in providing service to our guests. Responsible for cleaning tables, setting up and breaking down food service areas, serving bread and butter (in restaurants where this is part of service), pouring water (in restaurants where this is part of service), setting tables to specifications. Responsible for properly and safely carrying bus tubs, and trays to the dish room in accordance with training and updates to that training. Responsible for stocking silverware and glasses during service and glasses during service. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all service stations including, but not limited to cleaning sinks, emptying trash, washing walls, mopping floors, changing drink boxes and canisters, stocking juice and milk, brewing tea and coffee, wiping down counters, deep cleaning of stations. Keeping floors in restaurant and kitchen free of debris and soil. Setting tables for service in accord with Food and Beverage Standards and Procedures and any updates or changes to these as they become necessary.
Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain the following:
Bossier Parish A.B.O. Card
L.A.C.T. within first 45 days of employment
Louisiana Racing License
