Full Time Caregiver

Home Instead Senior Care provides quality care for seniors in their homes. Our CAREGivers make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. We are currently have one position available for day shifts in Wilkes-Barre and surrounding areas including Mountain Top and Back Mountain. 

Requirements:

Most importantly, caring and compassionate individuals are needed.
Two-years experience with home health care and providing personal care is required.
Meet state requirements for background checks, references, PPD testing.
Be able to drive a reliable car for your transport to/from clients as well as client errands/appointments and provide service to all clients in our service area.
Possess a valid driver's license and car insurance.
Have experience with all types of care-personal care, hoyer lift, transferring clients, etc.

This position is guaranteed 30 hours per week. You may have the opportunity to work more hours depending upon schedule. Pay rate of $10.00 per hour.
You are required to be available for work from 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday and every other Saturday and Sunday 7:00 PM-5:00 PM. This means that you will need to be available for these times, but not necessarily work all these times. Again, you will be paid for 30 hours of work per week. If it is a week you work the weekend, then you will be granted two weekdays off which will be determined by the office and you. Scheduling of work can fall within any hours of availability.
